Calling all 4th and 5th grade Big Shanty Artists! Draw a creative picture of Allatoona Ally and Tappy the Turtle conserving water. The drawing contest rules and entry form are attached. Turn in your final entry to Mrs. Lindroth by Thursday, November 30th.
I have planned some exciting new projects for the art students of Big Shanty. However, I still need to collect some materials for the art room.
I am collecting:
Lace scraps (ribbon or fabric)
wax paper or deli paper
3rd Graders that came to art class today had the challenge of designing an Ant Playground. They had a great time, and were very creative!
Please read the attached document about Patriot's Day here at Big Shanty!
“Big Shanty House T-shirts final order will be placed on September 1, 2017. If you have not already placed your order, please turn your form in as soon as possible. This is the only time they will be ordered for this school year.”
We have a winner! One of our students will be recognized for the drawing contest for the Allatoona Ally and Friends Coloring book. This is an event sponsored by WaterSmart. The reception will be Tuesday, January 31 at 5:00pm at the Cobb County Water System’s Lab Training Room.
Welcome back Big Shanty Eagles! Please take the time to look at your grade level page to see what is happening in the art room.
The 4th and 5th Graders are eligible to participate in the Watersmart art contest. The coloring book is titled Allatoona Ally and Friends. Below are the guidelines and entry form, and there is also a link to the 2016 Coloring Book. I need your entry by Monday,November 28, 2016.
