On the last studio day of a project, there are often students that finish early. Art teachers refer to these students as "early finishers". These students often vary in skill set, and they are usually finished early for various reasons. However, they have a very good question, "What do I do now?" Well, this week we are celebrating the Fall season, and using the leaves that fell in our recent rain downpour as inspiration and tools for painting. The students are using them as stencils to create a painting that includes the Fall colors (or, also known as warm colors). This is a great, easy, "crafty" lesson that the students can get creative with, and can succeed at his or her own level.
